About Us
The Church Of The Infinite Presence is a Divine Science Community of faith. All are welcome in our congregation no matter what your experience in life may be. You are never a visitor but you are always a part of our fellowship when you attend our services. We are also a congregational church and our congregation is final authority for business.
Will I be Welcome When I attend?
We will welcome you with open arms Divine Love and Joy is the essence of our gathering together. Hugs are free and kisses are not unusual. Dress is casual so come as you are.
Our Aim And Purpose
The aim and purpose of this church shall be go glorify God, to gather together in love and harmony and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. It is our purpose to love one another and to support one another and as much as lies in us, to have that same Mind that was in Christ Jesus. We lovingly anticipate the coming of the outward manifestation of The Kingdom Of God on earth and to that end we watch and wait and demonstrate the good we know. (This statement is read on the first Sunday of every month).
What Are Our Services Like?
We know that singing is a healing agent to the soul and our songs are lively and full of meaning. We have a time of prayer when members of the congregation are invited to speak the names of those that have need of prayer. A candle is lit for each of these names. We also have a time of meditation in silence and then a guided meditation by the leader. Soft music is the background for this time. Meditation and prayer time is followed by a lesson presented by our Minister of one of the staff. These lessons are metaphysical in nature and give us ideas to think about during our coming week. We are dismissed with singing and The Peace Song. Generally we leave and have a time of after church fellowship at a restaurant for all those that wish to go and occasionally have a shared meal at the church.
We reach out in compassion to those of our brothers and sisters who are lost in a sense of separation, in pain or in grief, who are beset by sorrow, anger and fear. We pray that their conscious connection with Spirit may be restored and that they mau rediscover that love, and joy are all that exist.
